VACANT POSITIONS

Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) is a unitary university established by the Government in 2008. It is mandated to offer undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the social sciences and humanities. AUD is dedicated to innovative learning and research through which it seeks to understand and contribute to our social, cultural and economic life while promoting equality and excellence. AUD offers at present BA Honours programmes in History, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, English and Mathematics, MA in Development Studies,Environment & Development, Psychology, Gender Studies, History, Economics, Sociology, English, Education, Visual/Performing/Cinematic/Literary Art and Business, Public Policy & Social Entrepreneurship. AUD is now recruiting for various academic positions.

FACULTY POSITIONS: There are vacant faculty positions in the School of Business, Public Policy & Social Entrepreneurship, School of Culture & Creative Expressions, School of Design, School of Law, Governance & Citizenship, School of Development Studies, School of Education Studies, School of Human Ecology, School of Human Studies and in the School of Liberal Studies. In addition, there are vacant faculty positions in the following centres: Centre for Social Science Research Methods, Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development, Centre for English Language Teaching, Centre for Publishing and Centre for Community Knowledge. We invite applications from teachers and researchers as well as practitioners both in university and non-university environments. AUD has a special interest in interdisciplinary areas of studies. We follow a system of appointing a teacher as faculty concurrently in more than one School or programme as per his/her expertise and interest and the needs of the University. Every teacher of the University is concurrently on the faculty of the School of Undergraduate Studies. AUD follows norms of appointment and services set by the UGC. Reservations are in accordance with the rules of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Conditions of service, incentives and allowances are similar to those in central universities. 4. Livelihood Asset – Human, Physical, natural, Financial, Social
5. Livelihood sources – Agriculture, horticulture, forestry, NTFP (bamboo), rubber,
Sericulture, handloom& Handicraft, Animal resource, etc.
6. The role of institutions, including the interrelation between local communities,
educational & training institutes, NGOs and the state (various Government
departments)
7. Policy, Entitlement, empowerment and property rights
8. Gender aspects and social change
9. Vulnerability and outcome


CALL FOR PAPERS
    • Interested participants must submit the abstract (around 250 words) and full paper
      in .doc/.docx format (Font: Times New Roman, 12 pts.) typed in double space
     leaving in 1.5 inch margin on left side and 1.25 inch in other sides on A-4 paper
     through email to jayantard@gmail.com .
• The paper should be original one, not submitted / published elsewhere.
• The abstract of the selected papers will be eligible for publication in the
   Conference proceedings.
• A few selected papers may be published in TUI (A journal on Tribal Life & Culture,
    Published by Tribal Research & Cultural Institute, Govt. of Tripura; ISSN No- 2319-
   7382)/ Edited Book subject to review exclusively based on merit.
• The APA Referencing style guide may be followed.

IMPORTANT DATES

Last date of submission of Abstract: 30.04.2013
Last date for communication regarding acceptance of paper : 10.05.2013
Last date of submission of full paper: 7.06.2013

ACCOMMODATION
Limited number of accommodations may be provided to outstation participants. The
outstation participants are requested to contact the organizer well before the scheduled
date for their booking of accommodation.

REGISTRATION FEES
No registration fees for the participants.

TRAVELING EXPENDITURE
No TA/DA for the participants of the seminar except selected invited speakers.
